GLENN MEDEIROS:NOTHING IS GOING TO CHANGE MY LOVE FOR YOU [11]

Medeiros began his musical career at the age of 10 when he helped his father entertain guests on his tour bus on the island of Kauai. In 1987, at the age of 17, Medeiros won a local radio talent contest in Hawaii when he performed a cover version of George Benson's "Nothing's Gonna Change My Love for You" which was subsequently produced into an album by a small local independent label. A visiting radio executive from KZZP in Phoenix, Arizona heard the song and took the record back to Phoenix, where, through word of mouth, it became a national hit. Later, a world wide hit, it reached #12 on the Billboard Hot 100 and spent four weeks at number one on the UK Singles Chart in July 1988.

In 1988, he recorded the single "Un Roman d'amitié (Friend You Give Me a Reason)", a successful duet in France with Elsa Lunghini. He also achieved a 1990 United States #1 hit duet with Bobby Brown entitled "She Ain't Worth It". The same track peaked at #12 in the UK chart. He had another hit duet with Ray Parker, Jr. titled "All I'm Missing Is You" which peaked at US #32. In 1989 Glenn recorded "Under any Moon" with The Jets.

In 1992 Medeiros recorded a duet with Thomas Anders (of Modern Talking fame) titled "Standing Alone" and shot a video.

Medeiros wrote "Break These Walls" for the New Zealand singer, Sam Verlinden.

Today, Medeiros is the host and performs at the Hale Koa Hotel's luau in Waikiki, and is a school teacher. He has taught music at St. Joseph's School in Waipahu, and 5th grade at Island Pacific Academy in Kapolei. Currently he works at Maryknoll School in Honolulu teaching A.P U.S. History, Freshman Seminar, American History, Advanced American History, World History I and World History II

Dave Matthews Band, sometimes shortened to DMB, is a U.S. rock band formed in Charlottesville, Virginia in 1991. The founding members were singer-songwriter and guitarist Dave Matthews, bassist Stefan Lessard, drummer/backing vocalist Carter Beauford and saxophonist LeRoi Moore. Boyd Tinsley was added to the band as a violinist soon after the band was formed. Moore died suddenly in August 2008 due to complications from an ATV accident. Grammy Award-winner Jeff Coffin, of Béla Fleck and the Flecktones, has since filled Moore's spot as the band's saxophonist. Rashawn Ross and Tim Reynolds have also become full-time touring members of the band. MOONY: FALLING STAR [10]

Moony (born Monica Bragato, born 27 September 1980) is a musician from Italy, best known for being the vocalist on DB Boulevard's hit single "Point Of View", as well as her own single "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)".

Raised in Venice, Moony was first noticed singing in the Venetian club scene and was asked to provide vocals for a number of songs by DJ and producer Cristiano Spiller. The first single was "Positive", in 1998, sampled from the "Physical", song of Olivia Newton-John, and the second single with Spiller was "Batucada" (1999). She also featured in the project, Angel Moon, in the song "He's All I Want", released in 1998.

Her first major success was "Point of View" as part of the group DB Boulevard. That song became popular across the European dance music scene, and entered the UK Singles Chart at number three. It earned DB Boulevard the distinction of being the first Italian music group to be nominated in the MTV Europe Music Awards. From there on, she launched her solo career. The first single "Dove (I'll Be Loving You)" was a commercial success and entered the UK Singles Chart at number nine. She released her debut album Lifestories in 2003.

In June 2006, Moony released "For Your Love", and in July 2008, "I Don't Know Why". In September 2009 she released a second album, 4 Your Love in Japan, featuring previously released material and some new tracks.

Adriana Evans, also known as Adriana Madera, is an American R&B vocalist. She was born 1974 in San Francisco, California and was one of the first Neo soul artists. Her debut album Adriana Evans was released in 1997 and reached the No. 33 position on the Billboard Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums chart.

Adriana Evans was immersed in music from a young age, with her mother Mary Stallings singing with jazz artists like Count Basie, and her godfather being jazz saxophonist Pharoah Sanders.[1] As such, Evans finds a great deal of her musical upbringing in jazz music.

At the age of 18, Adriana moved to Los Angeles where she planned to attend college. While living in the city, she met rapper Dred Scott and the two quickly became friends. As their friendship grew, the two began working together in music. Because of this relationship, Adriana Evans appeared on Dred Scott's "Check the Vibe" in 1993 and Evans relied heavily on Scott for production on her debut album.

Paul Stewart, CEO of PMP records, played a crucial role in helping Adriana Evans get a deal with Capitol Records during the 1990s. Stewart was attracted to Evans after hearing a demo featuring her and having seen her in the video for Scott's "Check the Vibe." As Capitol Records folded, Stewart brought Evans onto his PMP Records where she released her self-titled debut album.

Adriana's self-titled debut album featured two singles, "Love Is All Around" and "Seein Is Believing." The two singles charted, with the former reaching #65 on the R&B charts and the latter reaching #50.
