[Jason Johnson, better known as Camouflage, was shot dead yesterday while taking a walk with his young son. Jason, 21, who was considered to be a role-model by many teenagers was shot outside Pure Pain Records in Savannah, Georgia.

Jason had a crime record which included murder and drug violations, but that did not stop high schools or radio stations from inviting him to host functions and "gigs". "He felt so relaxed he didn't even have bodyguards around him." said one fan.

"He watched out for the community, not just himself," said a local woman. Camouflage was also known locally for his good deeds such as dressing up as Santa at Christmas and giving out presents in the housing estate where he grew up.]
